we are going to be building a day run for our chicks. their free ranging days are numbered. I still get butterflies when I speak of front of people but they are good butterflies : )

I’m SO familiar with that crazy energy! I think going with it is the best thing you can do. When we decided to rip out and replace our kitchen a few years back, all I wanted to do was get in there and work, but I had a 22 month old to take care of, and we could only work on evenings and weekends while my husband was home. So what did I do? I undertook a huge batik project to keep my hands and mind busy.

And oh my gosh! To your commenter Hannah above…that’s an exciting story. Hope all is well with you and your new baby!

So glad the forum went well. I know just what you mean about speaking in public, or anything else that physically puts a crowd in front of something I’ve done or am doing. Moving through that with the energy, instead of letting it swallow you up– it must have made for such a dynamic and fantastic day. And YAY for handy dads and their project skills:)

I so wish I could have been at the Forum. I can’t wait to hear about it. My second baby was born in a rush in the car on the way to the birthing center and I was torn between feelings of such a quick smooth birth and the terror of a baby being born as my husband is driving. I feel blessed that everything went well, and yet it was a lonely experience. I would have loved to hear what other women had to share. I’ll be at the next one.
