A lovely counterbalance to all the publishing excitement and press events around here has been the simple joys of welcoming the beautiful month of May.

We began on May 1st by surprising our neighbors with May baskets and continued through this weekend when we made crowns and danced the Maypole at Lily’s Waldorf-inspired nursery school.

 ”Summer is a coming in! Summer is a coming in!

Heigh-ho, and make a merry din! Summer is a coming in! “

    Oh, how picturesque! What a beautiful celebration. It’s hard to believe Summer is creeping up already. We go into hibernation here in SW Florida until September. AC and any body of water become our best friends!
