a magical moss garden

Last week we visited with our dear friends for a lovely, low-key holiday gathering, and the kids (and at least one adult ;-) were absolutely enthralled with this beautiful moss garden display on their windowsill.

Wishing you moments of magic, peace and simple beauty on this Solstice Day.

we have moss everywhere here. I couldn’t imagine it inside too. but, it is kinda cool. I do see what looks like a red chicken coop through the window – true? that gives me an idea : )

I’m planning on reading “Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening” tonight with my boys, since it is “the darkest evening of the year.”

That is pretty. The big snow storm here just knocked down half of the branches from the pine tree in the front yard, and we have plenty of moss. I want to do something for solstice. We missed it yesterday because of the power outage. Thanks for sharing.
