events

I always thought that gardens were a one shot deal. Plant like crazy in the spring, do a little watering and weeding here and there and hope for the best with the harvest in the late summer and early fall.

It wasn’t until I began volunteering (and eventually working) at our CSA Farm that I was introduced to succession planting and how seeding, tending and harvesting can be a beautiful ongoing dance throughout the growing season.

Back in March, I launched my first Planting the Seeds eCourse and over 50 beautiful women joined me to plant the seeds of their dream gardens.

We did some serious decluttering in our homes and work spaces. We got clear on what is most important to us. We had a blast with glitter and sparkles and glue sticks. We celebrated the lives we are living now, while nurturing the seeds of our dreams.

We laughed. (And cried.)

And guess what we realized?

We want to do MORE planting!

We want to stay in this process and continue supporting each other and we want to invite more heart-centered, creative women to join us.

So we’re doing it again — starting this coming Monday (5/14).

Click the image below or RIGHT HERE for all the wonderful details and to read what some of the lovely women who joined in my first class have to say about the process.

We’d love for YOU to join us!

What educators are saying about Yoga4Classrooms™:

“Yoga 4 Classrooms™ is a confidence builder for my third graders. Just the other day, one of my students took a Warrior stance and exclaimed, “I am strong” right before beginning a math test. Each child began to stand one by one to take the pose. Yoga has taught my students life long lessons of empowerment.” –J. Bogard, Grade 3 Teacher

“The kids and I are really enjoying the yoga AND they are really getting that it is something that they can use anytime – how exciting is that?! I think their showing their learning to parents is indicative of the carry over. This is such a fabulous program!” –A.C., Grade 2 Teacher

“VERY inspirational! Wonderful tools to use in the classroom. Great community and self-awareness builders.” –C. B., Kindergarten Teacher

What students are saying about Yoga4Classrooms™:

“I used to get really angry, but now I know I can calm myself down if I just take a deep breath. Sometimes I need to do a few of those!” –J. F., Grade 1 Student

“I like taking yoga breaks because I can focus and concentrate better afterwards.” –A.G., Grade 3 Student

“I wish we had yoga day every day!” –S.M., Pre-K Student

Planting the Seeds — almost time!!!

by eringoodman on March 5, 2012

in events, living our dreams

Remember back in the day when you cut words and photos out of your favorite magazines and posted collages of “stuff you like” around your room (or in your locker)?

Wasn’t that fun?

In this funshop I invite you to pull out your scissors, glue sticks, notebooks and pens (and whatever else inspires you) and get back in touch with that creative place.

This online program, which is offered in a flexible, self-paced format so you can experience it as you go about your daily life, will help you to gain clarity, get inspired and start moving forward towards living the life of YOUR dreams!

Whether you are hoping to make big changes in your life or looking for gentle inspiration to help you fall back in love with the life you are living, NOW is the time to plant the seeds of all the hopes and dreams you hold in your heart.

The fun begins one week from today. Registration is open through Saturday.

planting the seeds

in events, living our dreams

Because so many of you have been asking What’s next?

(And because I’ve been asking myself the same thing.)

Because it is the perfect time of year for it to be this.

Because this program is for everyone with an open heart.

Because sharing this process is one of my favorite things in the world.

it’s about peace

by eringoodman on January 26, 2012

in events, lily's view, living our dreams, peace

If you visit this space regularly you know that on Thursdays I usually turn the blogging reins over to my daughter Lily.

This week, however, as I settle back in from Yoga4Classrooms training and count down to The 10-Day Family Re-Charge (a.k.a. my first online program!!), I was planning to tell my sweet girl that I needed to hold off on sharing her art this week.

And then Lily showed me what she had created.

I’m pretty sure I gasped a little as she handed it to me.

As I write this there are over 100 people — parents, aunties and grandparents — signed up to spend the first part of February Re-Charging with their families.

And I’m finding myself totally in awe of this whole process, which less than a month ago was just a “Wouldn’t it be nice…” idea dancing around in my heart, as I receive registrations from people as far away as Australia and New Zealand.

Lily’s drawing reminded me just how connected we all are and what this work I am called to do is all about.

And so, without further ado, I present to you the Contributor Line-up for The 10-Day Family Re-Charge, which begins February 4.
