Ceremony Writing

Getting married outside of the Southern New England area? Having me travel to perform your ceremony beyond your budget?

Not to worry. We can still work together to create the ceremony of your dreams!

I am now offering a special long-distance wedding ceremony package where you will get everything that I offer to my local couples — except me performing your ceremony.

Wait. How does this work?

First, we’ll chat via e-mail and have a brief Skype call to get to know each other and see if it feels like we’d be a good match to work together.

If you decide you’d like to work with me, we’ll schedule a second Skype call, which will be about an hour to 90 minutes long, to talk about your ideas and dreams for your ceremony, as well as who you are as individuals and as a couple. I’ll guide the conversation with questions I need to help me write a unique, personalized wedding ceremony just for you.

After the call, I’ll get to work crafting your ceremony while you make decisions (with support from me) about elements to include in your ceremony.

We’ll communicate regularly via e-mail until we have everything in place and then I will send you the first draft of your ceremony.

You and your partner will review the draft and send me any edits you’d like me to make. I’ll edit and send back to you as many times as is needed so your ceremony is exactly what you want it to be.

Sounds great. But now what? Who will marry us?

Who will present the ceremony script we’ve created is your choice.

Many states allow friends or family members to perform wedding ceremonies (I can provide more details) or you may wish to hire a Justice of the Peace or Minister. Whomever you choose, I will make myself available to your celebrant to answer any questions and will provide him or her with a final draft of the ceremony.

It’s the next best thing to having me there to perform your ceremony.
